BBC Arts Fierce Women Pitch

Fierce Women is a six-part series celebrating the 'sheroes' of our time, the disruptors of the status quo... Pioneering, intellectually threatening and socially explosive women.

The series is audacious, bold and confident. The episodes will reinforce the spirit of each trailblazing woman. Using archive, stills, talking heads, text and a light scattering of motion graphics, the films will be layered with texture to give pace and energy. The visual design will be used as a tool to punctuate the narrative.

The colour palette is simple, clean and bold and the visual look of the series is direct, immediate and stylish. Using dynamic music, text, archive and impassionate talking heads, the films convey a sense of gravitas, intensity and strength. The strand is celebratory and attention-seeking, these films feel inspiring in tone and visually distinctive.
